Long story short, lost motivation updating.
The last updates I did before that big pause involved using something called Flexbox, which is something that can stretch or push objects to make them responsive on different screen sizes. Doesn't sound so bad but man I was STRUGGLING trying to figure it out that I just...gave up...☠︎︎ ☠︎︎ ☠︎ Recently, I have been doing small undocumented [or maybe they were and I just forgot about that] updates with Flexbox to get the ball rolling again. So far, eveything seems to have been working and even though I have been on the verge of crashing out, I just refused to give up. The last things I have atm are the grids on the art [and soon oc pages] and the mess that is the music page. I have decided to just make the band pics pop up when you click on a band but the function is NOT working. So I have decided that I'm going to read up on Javascript basics so I actually know what the fuck I am doing. I haven't even reached the halfway point yet and there was so much stuff before so it may take a while but it'll be done soon I swear.
Moving on from site stuff to talk a little bit about my actual life lol. Its been doin pretty good. I got a job at Goodwill recently [with today being my first day to work there!!] which I am VERY excited about since working at a thrift store was like my top pick for a job, plus they were the second place I applied to lol. My birthday was the 4th last month, which makes me 19 now [I know, late birthday announcement lol]. I also met a lot of cool online friends recently [you know who you are B)] that I enjoy talking to as there was a small point in time where that wasn't happening. [Lots of online friend drama that I might vent about at some other point lol] I've also had a lot of fun stuff goin on with my irl friends [like this record store in San Luis Obispo, my birthday, flea markets, etc.] Oh and I saw Nekromantix in November, which was awesome and I totally forgot to talk about that on here lol. We were at the front again and their singer Kim got in front of mr a few times which was cool af. Im not gonna lie, he was very freaky that show. Like 90% of the time it looked like he was in lust with his coffin bass lol.
So yeah that's what been going on with the site and my life recently and I'm very excited to keep pushing forward!!
