He got into nu metal in 1999 [he was 12] after seeing the news talk about the horrific event of Woodstock 99. He started to look into some of the bands that played those days and was hooked since, with his favorite band being Deftones.When Gabbie got into nu metal, she would keep stealing his band shirts to wear at school so he took her to Hot Topic to get her own stuff. This is where he met his girlfriend, Mari, who worked at the store. He hangs out with a lot of the metalheads who are chill with him except for the black metal kid. They both hate each other
