Reimu's shrine has started getting inhabited by ghosts. Not knowing at the time, Mima had broken out of the seal Reimu placed on her in HPtP and wants to acquire the power of the Hakurei Shrine.

A multiplayer danmaku game. Reimu discovers some ruins not far away from the Hakurei Shrine. Only one person can enter which causes many danmaku battles to determine the winner. Upon entering the ruins, the player encounters Yumemi and Chiyuri. They are humans from the outside world who came to Gensokyo to prove that magic exists.

Reimu notices youkai swarming her shring while Marisa feels a great amount of power coming from a mountain's lake. They both go out to solve the incident and discover a mansion called Mugenkan. Yuuka Kazami, the mainsion's owner, had been responsible for the incident.

Demons and yokai from Makai begin to swarm Gensokyo. Reimu, Marisi, Mima, and Yukka venture to Makai to solve the incident. Each with their own motives. They all meet Shinki, the god and creator of Makai who tells the heroines that there was major traveling issue that she had no control over.

A mysterious scarlet mist has been looming over Gensokyo, slowly blocking the sun. It was coming from the Scarlet Devil Mansion, which is owned by Remilia Scarlet. She is a vampire who caused the mist so she could feel comfortable going outside.

The first game to feature Sakuya as a playable character and the only game to feature a Phantasm stage. Winter weather had been continuing during springtime. The heroines investigate the situation and find themselves in the Netherworld. They meet ghost Yuyuko Saigyouji in Hakugyoukurou, who had stolen the spring to break the seal the Saigyou Ayakashi. It is a yokai cherry blossom tree that contains Yuyuko's soul.

The first fighting game. After the events of PCB, Reimu has been having feasts at her shrine every three days. A mysterious mist often apreared during the feasts and the playable character goes out to find the source of this. It was caused by a oni named Suika Ibuki, who spread herself in the form of mist. She caused the incident because she felt that the events of PCP made the flower-viewing season short.

The first game to feature Youmu as a playable character along with co-player characters. During the eve of the Harvest Moon Festival, the moon seems to be replaced by a fake one. The herorines go to the Bamboo Flower of The Lost and eventually Eientei. Lunarians Eirin Yagokoro and former moon princess Kaguya Horaisan caused the incident to hide themselves from the Lunarians on the moon.

A multiplayer danmaku game. An abnormal spring has bloomed in Gensokyo. It is caused by free roaming spirits due to Komachi Onozuka slacking on her job to controll the spirits. They finally meet Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu, the boss of Komachi and Yama of Heaven an Hell. She judges the herorines and determines they will all go to hell due to bad habits they have.

A new shrine called the Moriya Shrine was been stealing faith to gaim popularity. It had been bothing the youkai at Youkai montain and Reimu and Mariso go to stop the three gods, Kanako Yasaka, Suwako Moriya, and Sanae Kochiya, the human god shrine maiden.

A fighting game. Different locations in Gensokyo have been experiancing different weather that did not match the other location. The heroines go out to solve the problem and learn that it was caused by celestial Tenshi Hinanawi, who caused the incident due to being bored in heaven.

A geyser erupts with spirits. Reimu and Marisa travel to Former Hell and go to the Palace of The Earth Spirits, which is owned by the satori, Satori Komeiji. Her two pets were responsible for the incident but had two different motives. Rin "Orin" Kyanbou created the eruption to warn the protaginists that Utsuho "Okuu" Reiuji was planning to take over the world with her nuclear powers that she got from Kanako.

The first game with Sanae as a playable character. A mysterious flying object had been roaming the skies of Gensokyo, along with UFOS. The bosses of this game are trying to collect the UFO to break the seal of human Byakuren Hijiri, who wanted humans and yokai to be at peace with each other. The flying ship had been originally uncovered by Okuu.

The fighting game. A giant had been seen roaming Gensokyo randomly appearing and dissapearing. Meiling, Cirno, and Sanae go out to solve this mystery.

A danmaku spinoff. Aya's newspaper, Bunbunmaru Newspaper, is popular despite containing fake news and exaggerated truths. Hatate Himekaidou, who runs Kakashi Spirit News, thinks this is stupid and declares war on Aya when they meet. Once defeating her, Hatate is unlocked as a playable character and you can replay the game with her perspective.

A danmaku spinoff. The Three Fairies of Light, Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Saphire, wanted all the fairies to cooroperate. They thought this could be accomplished by force and destroy Cirno's house. Cirno mistook this as a declaration of war and sets out to fight the Three Fairies of Light.

Divine spirits have been roaming around Gensokyo. Initially, the heroines beleived Yuyuko was responsible but she pointed them to the right direction, the Myouren Temple. They go there and find out the spirits were roaming to witness the ressurction of Toyosatomimi no Miko, a saint. SHe also used to be Prince SHotoku of Japan's history.

A fighting game. Due to all of the incidents that occur, the humans of the human village have been growing hopeless. They turn to religion, magic, and science to cope. Our heroines discover the cause of this incident was the menreiki Hata no Kokoro, who had lost her hope mask and caused her to have an emotional outburst that effected the humans. Turns out it was Koishi Komeiji who stole her mask.

Youkai are rebelling and tsukumogami are coming to life. The protagonists weapons have also been acting agressively. Our protagonists find their way to the Shining Needle Castle, an upside down castle in the sky. The incident appears to be caused by inchling Shinmyoumaru Sukuna because she had the powerful Miracle Mallet but it was actualy the amanojaku Seija Kijin who caused the incident. She originally had the mallet and convinced Sukuna to cause a power turn about in Gensokyo.

A danmaku spinoff. Seija has become a wanted yokai due to causing the events of DDC. If she was captured, there would be a reward. So many yokai and humans begin fighting with undodgeable spellcards to defeat her. During this, Sukuna had been telling Seija to stop and return the power of the mallet as they lost the was in DDC. Seija keeps doing what she is doing and the two of them go against each other.

A fighting game. Rumors had been circulating the human village. They turned out to be urban legends haunting the children of the human village. They go out to find the source of the urban legends and discover they were caused by Sumireko Usami, a human from the outside world who entered Gensokyo.

The Lunar Capital is being attacked so the Lunarians head to Gensokyo to inhabit the land and begin to purify it. The incident was caused by divine spirit Junko, who attacked the moon to kill Change'e as an act of revenge. The goddes of Hell, Hecatia Lapislazuli and fairy Clownpice also helped her.

A fighting game. A new urban legend, "Perfect Possesion" claims that a person can take controll of another person's body and mind. The rumor frightening the numans in the human village ans Rimu and company go out to solve it. The rumor was started by godly sisters Joon and Shion.

Certain parts of Gensokyo are experiancing different seasons. Reimu, Marisa, Cirno, and Aya go to find the source of the incident. Okina Matara, the hidden god, was responsible of the incident. The land she resides in is hidden from anyone and was only accessable by going through a door on Narumi's back.

A danmaku spinoff. Sumireko returns to Gensokyo in a nightmare to take pictures of her danmaku fights with various characters to post on social media. Doremy warns her that this isn't a good idea and more nightmare follows.

Animal spirits from Hell begin to swarm Gensokyo and claim other animal spirits plant to take over the human war. Our heroines go to the Animal Kingdom, which is located in Hell, to solve the indicent. The god of creation, Keiki Haniyasuhsin, had built land on the animal's land to protect the humans but in turn upsetted the animals.

The first and only horizontal danmaku game. A mysterious black liquid started to seep onto Gensokyo's land. No one knew whether to trust is or not so the heroines solve the incident. It turnued out to be petroliam and Yuuma Toutetsu of the Animal Realm refuses to let anyone get it.

Cards with magical abilies have started appearing in Gensokyo. The incident was created by god of the marketplace Chimata Tenkyuu and tengu Megumu Lizunamaru, who created the cards to boom buisness. However there was a disagreement between the two and they started to work for their own gain.

A multiplayer danmaku game. After the markets opened, Gensokyo's land shortly lost it's ownershit and an invasion from the Animal Realm began. Our protagonists travel there again to stop the invasion. Zanmu Nipakku wants to fight against the animal spirits but cannot send them to Gensokyo, so she sends out Son Biten, Chiyari Tenkajin, and Enoko Mitsugashira fo fight the animal spirits on the Animal Realm.

An indident is occuring in the sanctuary at the bottom on Yokai Mountain. Reimu and Marisa head to the sanctuary to discover what is happening. Turns out, the Lunarians were making an AI model in the pyramid base that gone impure from the outside world's influence. They resurect godess, Ariya Iwanaga, and brainwash her to work with them because of her ability for things to not change.
